Save the Frogs Day
"Conceived and coordinated by SAVE THE FROGS!, Save The Frogs Day is the world’s largest day of amphibian education and conservation action."
Conserve It Forward offers the opportunity to participate in Save the Frogs Day each year through attendance at our annual Brooker Creek Preserve program! Besides the program that includes a Human Frog Chorus, there are frog coloring pages and the chance to take part in a social media blitz.
From 2011-2014
From 2011-2014, Conserve It Forward presented a free, family friendly Save the Frogs Day event in Tampa Bay each April at Camp Bayou Outdoor Learning Center in Ruskin, FL. This event had activities such as interactive games, frog walks, and frog talks. We also had lots of prizes to help people help frogs and the environment!
Tampa Proclamation
In 2012 and 2013, Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn (and Ms. Michelle at his office) approved our request for a Proclamation for Save the Frogs Day in Tampa, helping us spread awareness about how important frogs are to the environment and encouraging people to help protect the environment!
