From 2010-2012, Avalon mainly funded her projects through award money she won, as well as through the sale of bottlecap items she created.
In late 2012/early 2013, Conserve It Forward, Inc., a non-profit corporation in Florida, applied for and received a 501(c)(3) charitable designation.
