CIF founder invited to participate in Dr. Jane Goodall event in Tampa Bay
Our founder Avalon Jade Theisen was recently invited by Dr. Jane Goodall and Roots and Shoots to speak on the Youth Changemakers Panel ahead of Dr. Jane Goodall's keynote at the Roots & Shoots Tampa Bay Hope in Action Youth Environment Summit. Avalon spoke on her work with Conserve It Forward, youth environmental education, her PhD research on religious environmental nonprofits, and that everyone can make a positive difference, regardless of age! She emphasized the Smal Acts, BIG Change message!
From Avalon: "Meeting Dr. Goodall again after 10 years was emotional and awe inspiring! I first met her in 2014, when Rachel Pethe' of the local Roots & Shoots group invited me to lead the peace dove for Dr. Goodall's talk. Highlights of the day were serving on the panel with amazing fellow advocates, talking individually with children and parents, and feeling once again the warmth and kindness of Dr. Goodall's smile!"

Some Favorite CIF Memories

Small Acts. BIG Change.

“If we all do small acts, then together we will make big, positive changes for the world! Find a project you love, act on it, share it with others...that’s how you conserve it forward!” -Avalon Jade Theisen, Founder
